Israel Coins and Medals Corp. (ICMC) was founded in 1958 by Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion. Its purpose then—and still remains—to commemorate the national and historical events of the State of Israel and its prominent figures, as well as the milestones of our culture, art, and people. ICMC was designated as the distributor for the legal tender commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Israel and the State of Israel Medals, as well as for promoting Israeli craftsmanship and Judaica.
